Biebs Disses LiLo, Later Apologizes
In response to what has felt like a long year of negative headlines for the 19-year-old singer (it’s only been a couple weeks since his “worst birthday”), the Biebs has issued a long statement via Instagram on Wednesday night.
“Everyone in my team has been telling me, ‘keep the press happy’ but I’m tired of all the countless lies in the press right now,” the singer wrote on Thursday morning.
In the wake of his recent Believe Tour hiccups, Bieber says he’s not going to rehab and that his family is “beyond proud.”
“If anyone believes I need rehab that’s their own stupidity lol,” he continues, before reminding everyone of his age, the number of Bieber albums that have reached number one and how well he knows his “talent level.”
Bieber actually posted two versions of his rant: the original has since been deleted, while the one currently on his Instagram account contains an altered ending.
What’s missing from the second version is his mention of Lindsay Lohan.
In the first version, according to a screen grab obtained by TMZ, Bieber wrote, “And to those comparing me to Lindsey [sic] Lohan look at her 2012 tax statements ;)”
The tweaked rant now says, “All this isn’t easy. I get angry sometimes. I’m human. I’m gonna make mistakes. I’m gonna grow and get better from them. But all the love from you guys overcomes the negativity. I love u. Thanks.”

He later apologized for sniping at Lohan, telling TMZ: “My post was only up for a few minutes but I realized right away that what I said at the end was wrong and distracted from what I was trying to say.”
He added, “I immediately deleted it and rewrote it so it would show what I was really feeling and those words are up now.”
Bieber is scheduled to perform in Spain on Thursday, followed by a show in Barcelona on Saturday.
