Lil Wayne Tweets, He's 'Alive And Well’
Rapper Mack Maine also tweets that reports about Lil Wayne being delivered his last rites are "false."

There were conflicting reports about the health of Lil Wayne late on Friday.
Despite claims that he's in ICU in critical condition after suffering yet another seizure, his friend and fellow rapper Mack Maine insisted Lil Wayne, 30, whose real name is Dwayne Michael Carter Jr., was watching a basketball game on Friday night.

TMZ reported, however, that Lil Wayne -- a native of New Orleans -- was admitted to Cedars-Sinai hospital in Los Angeles and was released on Wednesday, but readmitted a few hours later after his bodyguard found him unconscious on the floor of his room.
"Wayne's mother is currently on a plane flying to Los Angeles -- and we're told all major decisions about Wayne's health (including the decision to discontinue life support) will not be made until she arrives," the site reported.
Maine's "alive and well" message was retweeted by Nicki Minaj, Birdman and Jay Sean.
He also criticized TMZ, complaining it deceived fans and the site tried "to kill a man before his time."
Earlier, the media outlet claimed Wayne had been “given his last rites” with family and friends surrounding him Friday. However, that reporting has since been removed.
