Tiger Woods and Olympic star Lindsey Vonn make it official, posing for intimate portraits.

Game On! Tiger Woods Goes Public With Lindsey Vonn Romance

Facebook status update: In a relationship.

Disgraced golfer Tiger Woods formally announced his relationship with Olympic gold medalist Lindsey Vonn via Facebook on Monday morning, when he posted a series of intimate portraits of the pair.

"This season has been great so far and I'm happy with my wins at Torrey and Doral. Something nice that's happened off the course was meeting Lindsey Vonn," the golfing star wrote.

"Lindsey and I have been friends for some time, but over the last few months we have become very close and are now dating. We thank you for your support and for respecting our privacy. We want to continue our relationship, privately, as an ordinary couple and continue to compete as athletes."

At the same time, the apline skier, 28, gushed on her official Facebook:

I guess it wasn't a well-kept secret but yes, I am dating Tiger Woods. Our relationship evolved from a friendship into something more over these past few months and it has made me very happy. I don't plan on addressing this further as I would like to keep that part of my life between us, my family and close friends. Thank you for understanding and your continued support! xo LV
Readers of Celebuzz would have known there was more to this coupling before the announcement: Indeed, last week, the golf legend and Vonn were photographed aboard his yacht just off the coast of Florida.

But as USA Today noted, Vonn had neither confirmed nor denied her relationship with Woods over the past few months.

But when the golfer sent his private jet to pick up Vonn after her Feb. 8 injury in Austria, it was apparent there was more to this duo than friendship. Congratulations.

So, are you happy for 37-year-old Tiger after his string of infidelities?

I have been giving some thought to this matter. I think that this whole thing is part of a massive campaign to rebuilt Tigers image, regain the public favor, new sponsors and more revenues! I read the appearance fees some countries were paying Tiger have decreased since his appeal abroad went down hill after his sex cheating scandal!!! They tried to use Elin and the children; hence the multi-million dollars proposal for remarrying that was reported by The Enquirer! Elin did not accept! When this failed they went with Lindsey Vonn who seems willing to do anything for publicity and money! Even sleep with a serial liar and cheater like Tiger Wood! They are both truly pathetic! Tiger has not changed! He is still an arrogant and self centered individual who only cares about himself and his pleasure!
