Bieber Mourning The Death Of 11-Year-Old Fan
The singer sends out a special tweet after Briana Tejeda loses her battle with leukemia.
Monday marked a sad day for Justin Bieber.
While the 19-year-old singer toured Paris, he got news that one of his biggest fans, Briana Tejeda, had lost her battle with cancer.
The 11-year-old leukemia patient had met the "Boyfriend" singer backstage at a Jan.18 concert in Nashville.
After receiving word of Tejada's passing, Bieber tweeted:
just got news about little Briana. I was honored to meet her. I know she is up in heaven smiling. #ripBriana #love twitter.com/justinbieber/s…Back in January, Tejada's parents had written on their Facebook page that their daughter's meet-and-greet with Bieber was "a dream come true." They even posted a photo of the singer giving Tejeda a kiss on the cheek, saying "the best kiss she's ever had!"

But the two were already acquainted -- before their meeting, Bieber had made two videos for his special fan.
"I just wanted to say my prayers are going out to you and your family. Thank you so much for believing in me and being a big fan. And I'm your biggest fan, and I love you so much," Bieber said on the video.
