This Made Ryan Phillippe Lose Over A Million Dollars
After having difficulties in finding a buyer for his 7,600 square foot mansion overlooking Los Angeles’ Sunset Strip, the Stop-Loss actor lowered the asking price of his expensive mansion and — finally — parted ways with the estate for $1,175,000 less than what he originally paid for.
Property records indicates the contemporary home, which boasts five bedrooms and six and a half bathrooms, was sold for $6,000,000 this month — which is well below the $7,175,000 the 38-year-old forked over in 2008 after separating from ex-wife Reese Witherspoon.
According to the listing, the gated property is located on more than a half-acre.
The home itself comes complete with a 2-story entry hall — which Phillippe converted to a gym — as well a home theater, cook’s kitchen, a swimmer’s pool with underwater speakers and spa, an outdoor kitchen with entertaining space and sauna.
