Meet The Hunks Of ‘The Host’

By: Lily Harrison / March 21, 2013

The Los Angeles premiere for the film adaptation for Stephenie Meyer’s latest book, The Host, was packed with heartthrobs and famous faces.

Max Irons told Celebuzz that he “stopped for a drink on the way here” to quell his nerves before hitting the big blue carpet.

Irons also revealed that his ongoing pranks with co-star Jake Abel are “very juvenile,” but that an end to the playful battle is nowhere to be seen.

Abel told CB! that he was predicting he’d be the target of another prank at the film’s premiere.

“I’m thinking some ping pong balls are going to come at me.”

So just where did the pranking stem from?

“He made the mistake of showing his weaknesses and I’ve exploited them,” Abel said of Irons.

While their pranking problems seem to be at an all-time high, both actors are remaining humble about the film’s highly-antipicated arrival.

“The fans have been great and coming out in droves,” Abel said. “Film is the easy part, the fun part. So, it’s been great.”
