‘Come & Get’ Her!

Selena Made Biebs Cry
Selena Gomez says she made Justin Bieber cry.
Selena Gomez will continue her big year with the release of a new single and a performance at this year’s MTV Movie Awards.

On Wednesday, it was announced that the 20-year-old Spring Breakers star will debut “Come & Get It” on TV for the first time at the Apr. 14 show, hosted by Rebel Wilson.

The announcement comes on the same day Gomez released the song’s red-hot cover art, which features the singer and actress in a floral headpiece and top, surrounded by red shells.

“Come & Get It” will premiere on the radio on Apr. 8, on On Air with Ryan Seacrest, along with the single’s official release on iTunes.

“It’s really cool because I got to take a year off music and really be a part of great movies and work with great people . . . so I thought it would be perfect that I kind of go into music again through MTV and then the Movie Awards . . . I’m so stoked,” Gomez told MTV News.

“Come & Get It” is the first official track off of Gomez’s highly anticipated third studio album, due this summer. Earlier this month, another new track, “Rule The World,” was leaked, but Gomez has yet to confirm whether or not the song will appear on the new album.

With just over two weeks to go before her MTV performance, Gomez said fans should get ready for something new.

“I really wanted [the album] to be a different level for me . . . so for the performance I’m just going to try to do things that nobody has ever seen from me before and kind of take it to the next level,” she said.

The 2013 MTV Movie Awards will be handed out on Apr. 14 at 9PM ET.
