Ryan C’s Ink Bromance With Ryan G
It was a gamble gone wrong… or was it?
And why would the 30-year-old rocker get a tat of the Oscar nominated actor? Well, he lost a bet.
“[My friends] like to play a game called tattoo roulette,” Cabrera told the Las Vegas Review-Journal. “We blindfold each other. ‘You get to pick a tattoo for me, and I get to pick a tattoo for you. And you don’t get to see it till they’re both done.’”
Although he calls the etching on his right calf “the Bentley of tattoos,” he wouldn’t even think of showing it to Gosling himself.
“No, no, no, I’m not showing it to Ryan,” he said, adding that he keeps his upper body tattoo real estate for his best works of art… or at least the ones he wants the public to see.
Cabrera, 30, made the big reveal before his performance at the Hyde Bellagio in Las Vegas March 28.
But don’t look for Gosling to return the flattering favor, after he confessed to regretting his myriad of fake tats in his new film The Place Beyond The Pines.
“I regretted the face tattoo instantly,” Gosling said. “I told [the director], ‘This looks ridiculous, I can’t do this to myself or your movie,’” he told ELLE.
“I didn’t want to be photographed or even look at myself in the mirror,” he added, “and I felt ridiculous. I started to feel probably exactly how this character felt.”
