NSFW: Gosling Wants To Fight In ‘Only God Forgives’
A new red band trailer for Ryan Gosling’s next film with “Drive” director Nicolas Winding Refn was unveiled on Wednesday.
Ryan Gosling only says two words in the trailer, but that’s more than enough to keep fans wondering exactly what will go down in Only God Forgives.
On Wednesday, Radius TWC unleashed a brand new red band trailer for the second collaboration between Gosling and his Drive director Nicholas Winding Refn.
The 32-year-old Canadian actor plays an exile named Julian who lives and works in the underground world of Bangkok, Thailand. Things get interesting when his mother (played by Kristin Scott Thomas) asks him to avenge his brother’s killer.
The film, which also stars Thai movie star Vithaya Pansringarm, is scheduled to play during the Cannes Film Festival in May, according to Variety. No U.S. release date has been announced.
Gosling’s 2011 film with Refn, Drive, screened at the 2011 Cannes Film Festival and would go on to receive major nominations during that awards season.
