The Duchess Of Cambridge Reveals Mid-July Due Date

Her Royal Highness crossed the border from England into Scotland today, where she is known as the Countess of Strathearn.  Wearing a blue and grey tartan “Workers” coat by Moloh, Catherine greeted well-wishers outside the Emirates Arena with Prince William (or Earl of Streatharn, as he’ll be known for the next two days).

The couple then went inside the Glasgow arena, one of the venues for the 2014 Commonwealth Games. They met with organizers and athletes, and then (in true royal fashion) unveiled a commemorative plaque.

TRH will also visit Dumfries House in Ayrshire.

According to the Daily Mirror’s royal reporter, Victoria Murphy, Catherine revealed new tidbits about her pregnancy to homeless centre project manager, Rachel Sawyer.

“It’s around mid-July but apparently babies have their own agenda…” Catherine told Sawyer, who asked about her due date (which has not been released by St. James’s Palace, other than the month).  HRH said she’d stop working “around June time” to prepare for the heir’s arrival.

As for names, Catherine said that she and William “have a shortlist for both (boy and girl,” but added it’s “very difficult” to choose.

“My friends keep texting me names,” Catherine said.

Afterwards, Sawyer talked about her bold questions.

“I just had to ask about the baby,” Sawyer said. “She was so lovely and it’s such a boost for the young people and the organisation to have her and William here.”
