Roger Ebert Dead: Celebrities React To Famed Film Critic’s Death

Hollywood is banding together after losing one of their own.

Stars everywhere are pouring out their hearts and airing out their condolences on Twitter over the loss of 70-year-old film critic Roger Ebert, who passed away Thursday after a lengthy battle with cancers of the thyroid and salivary gland.

Here’s what some of the stars had to say about the great loss:

President Barack Obama: The movies won’t be the same without Roger

Jimmy Kimmel: Roger Ebert was an excellent writer, a gifted artist, and as nice a guy as you’ll ever meet.  Sad he’s gone.
