Selena Wants You To ‘Come & Get It’

Selena Gomez’s upcoming single will be about love.

On Thursday, the 20-year-old superstar gave fans a 30-second preview of “Come & Get It,” the first track from her new studio album, due this summer.

“When you ready come & get it #4daysuntilcomenadgetit,” Gomez wrote on Twitter, along with a link to the YouTube clip.

The teaser finds Gomez all dolled up in a blush pink dress, with a tropical-themed garden serving as the backdrop.

“This love will be the death of me,” she sings, “but I know I’ll die happily.”

“Come & Get It” will officially premiere on Apr. 8, on both On Air with Ryan Seacrest and iTunes.

Gomez is also scheduled to perform the song for the first time at the 2013 MTV Awards on Apr. 14.

“I really wanted [the album] to be a different level for me . . . so for the performance I’m just going to try to do things that nobody has ever seen from me before and kind of take it to the next level,” she told MTV last month.

Gomez and The Scene last released an album in 2011, with When the Sun Goes Down. Her new summer album will not include the band.
