7 Lessons For Nahla To Learn About Big Sisterhood

Halle Berry is making her daughter dreams come true.

The Oscar-winning actress, 46, is expecting a child with her fiancé Olivier Martinez, 47, her rep confirmed to Celebuzz. And a little sibling to call her own is all Berry’s 5-year-old daughter, Nahla Aubry, ever wanted.

“Every night, we do our prayers,” Berry said on The Wendy Williams Show last fall, of herself and Nahla, who she shares with her former beau Gabriel Aubry. “We pray to God, so sweet. She says, ‘God, please bring me a bunk bed and a baby sister.”

“And I say, ‘I can do one of those things, I know for sure. The other one, we’ve got to keep praying on,'” she continued. “What do you say to her when she wants that and can’t understand why God’s taken so long?”

Well, at long last, Berry can breathe easy because she is granting her daughter’s wish. But as the actress, who is reportedly three months along, prepares for his first child with her fiancé of more than a year, Nahla has some readying to do for her new role: big sister.

And she can start by following the mini footsteps of the tots that came before her. From Jessica Alba and Cash Warren’s darling daughter Honor, 4, to Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck’s eldest, Violet, many famous big sisters could teach Nahla thing or two about being the elder in the fam.

So Celebuzz is lending Nahla a guide to live by: Here are seven lessons to be learned from some of Hollywood’s best big sisters.
