This $2M Pad Wasn’t Quite Good Enough For Jen And Justin
Could this be their first place as man and wife?
Celebuzz confirmed that the future Mrs. Aniston was on the multi-million-dollar house hunt recently and looked at this pricey piece of real estate in the SoHo neighborhood of NYC.
But there’s just one thing that kept the Wanderlust star from putting down an offer. Hmmm, we wonder what that could be?
“Justin and his brother Sebastian came to look at it,” a real estate source told Celebuzz.
“He walked through the first floor level and liked it, but it wasn’t for him.
“He really wanted something with more privacy and was adamant he wanted a higher floor.”
And for a cool $2.295 million, the happy couple – who got engaged in August 2012 after over a year of dating – were looking at 2 bedrooms, 12-foot windows, full service concierge and a gym.
$9 million penthouse in 2011 and the following year her $7 million apartments, while Theroux has long called Manhattan his home. So this could be a new start for the soon-to-be newlyweds.
Back on the West Coast, the superstar couple has already spent some serious ca$h on their home in Bel Air, which is being renovated for $21 million.
But Theroux had been eyeing the historic celeb-friendly conversion known as The Police Building for some time and was so enamored that he made it clear he wasn’t done looking.
“He said he’d be back,” added the source.
“He was such a cool guy. So humble and unaffected by all the celebrity,” said the source.
Listing agent Steven Giles with Douglas Elliman declined to comment.
