Justin Bieber Leaves A Controversial Message In The Anne Frank House Guestbook
The singer performed at Amsterdam later than night
While on tour in Europe, Justin Bieber visited the Anne Frank House in Amsterdam yesterday, according to the Huffington Post. And while we have no doubt that young Bieber learned a few lessons about the value of kindness and humanity, we wish that the good people at the museum didn't post the message he left in their guest book.
Yesterday night Justin Bieber visited the Anne Frank House, together with his friends and guards. Fans were waiting outside to see a glimpse of him. He stayed more than an hour in the museum. In our guestbook he wrote: "Truly inspiring to be able to come here. Anne was a great girl. Hopefully she would have been a belieber."While we have no doubt that Bieber's message wasn't intentionally disrespectful, it most definitely pissed off social media users, who took offense to Bieber's choice of words.
"Beyond disappointing that Bieber totally missed the point," one Facebook user posted. "Based on Anne's writing, she was far too mature to have chosen Bieber as a role model or someone to otherwise idolise."
Do you think Bieber's comments were out of line?
