CommentBuzz: The Best Reader Comments Of The Week
What a week, what a week, what a week, amirite?! Think of all the things that have happened in the grand old world of ~*~ENTERTAINMENT~*~! Reese Witherspoon got arrested! Justin Bieber managed to look cooler every time he stepped out in public! Amanda Bynes continued to be The Best and shaved her head! It’s hard to imagine how our lives could have been more enriched this week. And for that, we say, THANK YOU, CELEBRITIES!
Speaking of thanks, we’d like to thank our amazing readers for providing us with insightful and entertaining comments throughout the week. We’ve rounded up a few of our favorites and would now like to share them with you.
Lady Gaga and Britney Spears fans battled it out while discussing who had the better debut album:
ugh clearly Britney spears is the debute queen cuz allll albums (besides blackout due to a bogus rule change) have DEBUTED at #1 & gagas album went to #2 so lets be real hear & beyonce y is she even on here shes annoying & has Diana ross syndrome – Anthony
let’s see… 30mil verses 11mil and 15mil…not to mention been in the game for 13+ years, still #1 and is ORIGINAL. GaGa and Beyonce continue to COPY Brit so clearly we know who the real Queen is and always has been (and always will be) – Chelsea
The best one, THE FAME. – Rosa
People Magazine named Gwyneth Paltrow the World’s Most Beautiful Woman, and commenter Liz had this to say:
Hmm interesting, I wouldn’t have thought or considered her but she is pretty.
What are we all thinking about Kim Kardashian’s maternity style these days?
That definitely is an appropriate maternity-style dress. I only wish she would stop wearing black because she looks like she’s going to a wake. But you know what they say, “black is slimming.” So if that’s the reason, I suppose if I were pregnant I’d probably want to look as slim s possible as well. – Amanda
When Michael Bay “apologized” for Armageddon, fans of epic ’90s flicks threw their two cents in:
I actually prefer Armageddon to pretty much anything else he’s made, especially the Transofrmers trilogy. Deep Impact was okay but not the least bit memorable. I can only recall the final scene. Armageddon may have been cheesy but it did entertain and the cast had great chemistry. – Ayana
no need for apology, this film is waaay better compared to the BOOORRRINGGG deep impact fiasco, i have a copy of this film and i watch it when i crave for high intesity action. – Rommel
Sorry I’m not sorry. That movie was awesome and so much better than ‘Deep Impact.’ Pshhhhh – Kelly
Lastly, Reese Witherspoon’s arrest was a really hot topic this week:
Oh Reese! We forgive you! I dont think anyone reading this has ever not made THIS mistake, sometimes you’re caught and sometimes you’re not but remember sometimes you’re dead! dont think you’ll do it again nor will Jim. He’s such a good guy! I love how gracefully she handled it, admitting her attitude was poor and they used bad judgment. – Wynter
