You’ll Get Yours, ‘Closer’ Magazine And Pervy Photographer Lady
The woman who took topless photos of Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge during her September holiday in Provence, France is being charged alongside French Closer’s publisher for “invasion of privacy,” according to both the Daily Mail‘s Rebecca English and E!‘s Melanie Bromley.
The photographer also sold pictures to the regional paper, La Provence, claiming the stills of Her Royal Highness to be “all decent.”
Prince William were at Viscount Linley’s Chateau d’Autet when the photos were taken, just before they took off for their Diamond Jubilee tour of South East Asia.
News that topless photos of Catherine had ben published reached TRH during a visit to Kuala Lumpur. Richard Palmer of the Daily Express told me at the time that “it overshadowed the tour to a certain extent. They got over it. They told their chief aides that they felt some closure just by beginning some legal action.
“Prince William wears his heart on his sleeve and he was very angry, upset about it,” Palmer added. “He showed that throughout that Friday while the couple toured Kuala Lumpur.”
What emerged out of this ordeal was a test of character for Catherine.
“You see much more evidence of her being the steely one,” Palmer noted.
