Kate Middleton Talks About Children’s Hospice Week In First-Ever Video Broadcast

The Duchess of Cambridge recorded a video ahead of Children’s Hospice Week, her first-ever broadcast message in support of the cause in which she is heavily involved.

The campaign is being put on by Together For Short Lives, a UK charity that speaks for children with life-threatening and life-limiting conditions, as well as those who love and care for them.

“Children’s hospices provide lifelines to families at a time of unimaginable pain,” Catherine said in the message.  “The support they give is vital.”

Her Royal Highness is patron of East Anglia Children’s Hospice, where she made her very first speech in March 2012.
