Kate Middleton: From Here To Maternity
Today, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge celebrate their two-year anniversary. On April 29th, 2011, the former Kate Middleton of Berkshire, England married the second-in-line to the British throne at Westminster Abbey.
24 months later, they are expecting their first child, who – whether a boy or girl – will one day be sovereign.
St. James’s Palace made the announcement on December 3rd while the Duchess was still in her first trimester, only because if the press got wind that HRH was admitted to hospital with acute morning sickness, speculation would ensue.
On January 14th, the palace announced their Baby Cambridge is due in July. While in Scotland earlier this month, Kate gave the project manager of a Glasgow homeless shelter that a more specific date: “Mid-July,” she let slip.
As of press time, Their Royal Highnesses have kept mum on the sex of the baby.
