New York Goes ‘Gatsby’
Leonardo DiCaprio and his cast mates hit the red carpet for the world premiere of "The Great Gatsby" on Wednesday.
New York City was extra glamorous on Wednesday as the stars came out for the world premiere of The Great Gatsby.
The lavish affair, held at Avery Fisher Hall at the Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, welcomed the likes of the film’s leads Leonardo DiCaprio, Carey Mulligan, Tobey Maguire and Isla Fisher, as well as the soundtrack’s mega producer Jay-Z.
All week, director Baz Luhrmann and company have been hitting up the talk show circuit and events in support of the movie based on F. Scott Fitzgerald’s classic.
The Great Gatsby opens nationwide on May 10 and will also open the 66th Cannes Film Festival on May 15.
