Ryan Gosling Moves His Own Things On His Own Film Set

The Canadian actor was spotted on the Detroit set of his directorial debut, “How To Catch A Monster,” this week.

Ryan Gosling may be behind the camera on this project, but that won’t stop Gosling fans everywhere from enjoying the latest photos to come from the Detroit set.

On Thursday, the 32-year-old was spotted flaunting his biceps -- OK, he was moving boxes and other equipment -- on the set of How To Catch A Monster.

The fantasy/thriller, starring The Host’s Saoirse Ronan, Christina Hendricks and Eva Mendes, will mark Gosling’s directorial debut, based on a script written by the Gos himself.

According to a press release from last summer, How To Catch A Monster combines elements of fantasy noir and suspense into a modern day fairytale. A “vanishing city” serves as a backdrop while a single mother is swept into a dark underworld while her teenage son runs into his own troubles.

Gosling can next be seen in the Nicolas Winding Refn picture Only God Forgives, out in July.
