Prince Harry Lands On Capitol Hill As Female Staffers Scream With Delight

Prince Harry is back on U.S. soil for the first time since that (un)forgettable Las Vegas photo scandal.

On Thursday, the third-in-line to the British throne touched down at Dulles International Airport to kick off a weeklong visit. during which time he'll do a little press and raise funds for charities close to his heart.

Sen. John McCain had the lucky honor of greeting the prince as the pair attended a photo exhibition on landmines and unexploded ordinance at the Russell Senate Office Building on Capitol Hill.

As Twitter and Instagram have been telling us all afternoon, gaggles of female staffers have been lurking about the halls, squealing and snapping photos of the clothed royal.

Harry is scheduled to attend a dinner at the British Embassy later this evening.

On Friday, the 28-year-old royal will head to Arlington National Cemetery for a wreath ceremony before visiting wounded vets at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center.

Other highlights of Harry’s trip will include a tour of post-Hurrican Sandy New Jersey with Gov. Chris Christie, a fundraiser in New York City and a game of polo in Greenwich, Conn. in support of his children’s charity in Africa.

We'll be following live tweets and recaps from @RoyalReview as she covers Harry's weekend trip to Colorado.  On the agenda: the 2013 Warrior Games in Colorado Springs, with more than 200 injured servicemen and women expected to participate.
