How Jennifer Aniston Could Make 'Star Trek' Star Alice Eve the 'Happiest Girl Around'

Step aside, Princess Leia — there's a new scantily-clad bombshell in the scifi universe

Meet Dr. Carol Marcus, brought back to life by Alice Eve in J.J. Abram's much-anticipated sequel Star Trek Into Darkness. In earlier installments from the famed franchise, Carol, a stunning weapons specialist with a PhD, is involved with Captain James T. Kirk's (Chris Pine), even bearing his one-and-only child.

Though that relationship has yet to flourish in the upcoming rebooted film, Kirk does glean a glimpse at the beauty-and-brains scientist in her skivvies, a scene that is sure to set pulses racing for fanboys everywhere. And even Eve herself would be honored if that movie moment becomes as iconic as Star Wars' Princess Leia in a gold bikini.

"I love the Friends episode where Jennifer Aniston dresses up as Princess Leia in the gold bikini," Eve told Celebuzz's Cory Lopez. "I mean, I loved Friends. So if Jennifer Aniston ever dresses up as me, I think I would be one of the happiest girls around. [It would be] pretty damn cool." (Hear that, Jen? Cough, Halloween costume, cough.)

With signs that a third Trek installment is in the works, Eve would be more than happy to team up with Pine for an on-screen romance. "Boldly go where no woman has gone before," she said with a sly smile. "Chris is...great to work with and he’s got those baby blues that you can just kind of sink into so I’m sure Carol wouldn’t find it hard."
