‘Ooh La La’! Britney Spears Drops New Song

It’s Britney, b*tch! The singer is back at it with brand new music.

After teasing the track last month, Britney Spears has treated her fans to “Ooh La La,” a saccharine-sweet, pop song off the soundtrack for animated sequel The Smurfs 2, which hits theaters July 31.

When announcing the single in April, the former pop princess said it was her sons Sean, 7, and Jayden, 6, who inspired her lend her voice to the animated blockbuster.

“Remember that surprise song I recorded for my boys? It’s coming soon!” she tweeted, revealing her vocals will be featured in the forthcoming flick that stars Katy Perry, Neil Patrick Harris, Hank Azaria, Jayma Mays, and many more. “#OohLaLa for #TheSmurfs2 :) Stay tuned for more…”

More still is on the way. Spears will head back to the recording studio to start laying down her eight studio album, which will be executive produced by the Black Eyed Peas’ Will.i.am, her co-lead on the chart-blazing “Scream & Shout.” And she’s even taking her talents to Sin City, recently confirming rumors that she’ll be hitting the stage for a Las Vegas residency soon.

“The [Vegas] performances won’t be simple,” she told Shape’s June issue. “They’ll be a massive party from start to finish.”
