Back in the day, people used to come from all over the world to enjoy the restaurants of New Orleans. Now, many tourists and locals spend their days in the Crescent City roaming around town searching for one of the hottest food trucks in the country – La Cocinita.
La Cocinita, which means “The Little Kitchen,” delivers authentic gourmet street food straight from Latin America.
In today’s video, see what happens when La Cocinita’s world-renowned chefs Rachel Billow and Benoit Angulo create gourmet samples of La Cocinita’s Creole-infused Mexican street food using Miracle Whip.
Special menu items included:
Carne Asada Tacos: Made with grilled carne asada in a Miracle Whip® and roasted red pepper sauce, garnished with picked onions and cotija cheese.
Carnival Slaw: Made with carrots, purple and green cabbage, and pickled onions and beets, dressed with a creamy Miracle Whip® and cilantro green onion sauce.
Veggie Bowl: Made with brown rice, black beans, and seasonal roasted vegetables, dressed with an avocado and Miracle Whip® sauce, and garnished with pickled Beets and queso fresco.
The plan is all part of Miracle Whip’s “Year of a Million Mouths” – a year-long effort to get one million people to sample the great taste of Miracle Whip. Talk about word of mouth!
