NYPD Says Amanda Bynes Was Not Groped by Police
"Internal Affairs investigators have found no evidence to corroborate Ms. Bynes' allegations. To the contrary, a credible civilian witness who was with the officers throughout told investigators that none touched Ms. Bynes inappropriately or otherwise engaged in misconduct at any time," the NYPD said in a statement.
Bynes was arrested in her apartment Thursday night after allegedly throwing a bong out the window of her 36th-floor apartment in New York. She later told her side of the story on Twitter, claiming one of the arresting officers "slapped my vagina."
"Sexual harassment. Big deal," she added.
In subsequent Twitter posts, Bynes, 27, has said she plans to get a nose job and become a rapper.
