Hey Victoria’s Secret, Kate Upton Doesn’t Want To Be In Your Catalogue

She’ll stick to Sports Illustrated, thanks.

Kate Upton, who graced the publication’s Swimsuit Issue for the second consecutive time this year, is reportedly fuming over the fact that lingerie powerhouse Victoria’s Secret has decided to use an old modeling photo of her in their latest catalogue.

“The pictures are from 2011,” a source tells the New York Post. “Kate’s not currently contracted to work with Victoria’s Secret, and they didn’t contact her before they used these images.”

If that wasn’t enough cause for offense, Upton was also previously told by the brand’s model booker, Sophia Neophitou, that she would never be hired as her sexy look is “too obvious.”

“We would never use Kate,” Neophitou said in the New York Times.

“She’s like a soccer player’s wife, with the too-blonde hair and that kind of face that anyone with enough money can go out and buy.”

Upton, 20, is said to have been first hired by the company to model pyjamas when she was 18.

Since then, her popularity has sky-rocketed as she appeared in Italian VogueCosmopolitanVogue GermanyGQVogue Spain and, most recently, Vogue as their June 2013 cover girl.
