Sloth Lover Kristen Bell on Daughter Lincoln: ‘She’s Close’ to Being Cuter Than a Sloth

It’s no secret that Kristen Bell gets weak in the knees when anyone mentions anything about sloths.

So it was only natural that when the new mom paid a visit to The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Ellen DeGeneres brought up the topic of the clawed mammal.

When asked about how motherhood was (Bell gave birth to a daughter named Lincoln in March), the actress said, “It’s actually better than I expected. It’s pretty wonderful . . . it’s a lot of fun.”

“Better than a sloth?” DeGeneres probed.

“Is she watching? Is she here? I’m sure it’s better than a sloth,” said Bell.

The 32-year-old star also explained why she and longtime love Dax Shepard haven’t shared any photos of their baby girl.

“We’re not quite positive that she wants to be a public figure yet so we’re going to leave that up to her and if she wants to she can do a bunch of selfies. Who cares?” she said.

During the episode, airing Monday, DeGeneres also showed photos of sloths (baby sloths, sleeping sloths, hanging sloths, a bucket of baby sloths), before asking if Bell’s baby was cuter.

Forget about the Veronica Mars movie, when is Kristen Bell going to make a feature about/with sloths?
