‘Glee’ Star Darren Criss Drops $1.2 Million On An L.A. Bachelor Pad
Celebuzz has learned that the TV crooner splashed out a not-too-shabby $1.2 million for California cool digs in Los Angeles.
Built in 1950, the designer-inspired mid-century abode was all his as of November 2012, according to property records -- and with the Glee star's deep pockets he bought plenty of room for entertaining his cast mates -- with three bedrooms, two baths and 1,696 square feet of lush landscaping.
And we can see why this locale was such a draw. Exuding a Hawaiian tropics feel, the private and gated bachelors-only oasis is surrounded by towering palm trees, saltwater pool and fire pit.
But inside, it's all about Metro-chic with touches of period features, including the flagstone entryway, vaulted exposed beam ceilings, hardwood floors, fireplace and classic casement windows.
And modern amenities like a state-of-the-art kitchen and master suite with mosaic tile bath, steam shower and French doors opening up to the BBQ-ready backyard.
