Dolce and Gabbana Are Going to Jail

Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana
Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana, the men behind the Dolce&Gabbana brand, have been found guilty of tax evasion and sentenced to 20 months in jail. The Milan court just handed down the sentence Wednesday morning. Dolce and Gabbana failed to declare 1 billion ($1.3 billion in U.S. dollars) in income to authorities.

Dolce and Gabbana have denied the charges. However, prosecutors argued that they used a Luxembourg-based company to hide substantial earnings, in order to avoid paying taxes in Italy.

In addition to founding the fashion label which has become a celebrity favorite, Dolce and Gabbana also serve as the brand's head designers. It's unclear who will be in charge while the two are incarcerated.

Too funny for words. Apparently The Lohan Law doesn't apply to them - choose your prison, therapy and punishment. I say make them wear thrift store clothes for 2 years. That's learn em!
