Kelly Clarkson's New Country Single Is the Anti-'Single Ladies'
'Tie It Up,' y'all.
The song, which was likely inspired by her engagement to Brandon Blackstock, takes on the melody of 'You Oughta Know' (kind of, but much more positive) as it tells the story of a woman who really, really, really wants to set the date. (Think Charlotte York in season 6 of Sex and the City.)
The song will officially be released on June 26. Which is weird, because Kelly just released "People Like Us" as a single only a couple weeks ago. But, hey! Happy listening, y'all!
