Matthew Morrison is officially off the market now that he’s asked his longtime lady love, Renee Puente, to be Mrs. Morrison. But long before he popped the question with a massive sapphire and diamond bauble, the TV crooner was already investing in his soon-to-be happily wedded future when he took this L.A. pad off the market in 2010.
The charming abode is where the soon-to-be husband and wife will be spending their gleeful engagement before they say “I do.”
Three years ago the 34-year-old Broadway star-turned-TV leading man, who got engaged to his model girlfriend of two years on June 27, plunked down a hefty $1.193 million on a 2-bedroom, 3-bath Monterey Colonial tucked away in the Hollywood Hills.
Built in 1941, the tree-lined property (perfectly fit for two) sits on .52 acres and is as private as can be with a long and gated circular driveway leading to the motor court and two-car garage.
And it has all the appeal we’d expect from everyone’s favorite on-screen Spanish teacher/choir director.
The traditional, yet modest, two-story home has a white brick exterior and green piping that blends with its hillside environment.
Inside, the front door opens to a living room and formal living room accented by tumbled stone tile flooring and brick fireplace.
The large kitchen with vaulted ceiling and breakfast bar we’re sure will be put to good use for their engagement party, family get-togethers and plenty of other reasons to celebrate before and after the cute couple walk down the aisle.
While upstairs you’ll find two big bedrooms with chestnut colored hardwood floors, fireplace and balcony surrounding the entire second floor.
