Richard Gere Wants $65 Million For His Hamptons Digs

Do you have $65 million casually laying around? Yeah, me neither.

But, if you’re fortunate enough to be in the top 0.1 percent of all U.S. household incomes, here’s some even better news (other than the fact that you’re ridiculously rich). You can now afford to plunk down the eight-figure sum for Richard Gere’s recently listed North Haven, New York estate.

So what does $65 million buy you? Well, the postcard-worthy Southhampton compound, known as Strongheart Manor, the Pretty Woman star and his model-turned-actress wife Carey Lowell have called home sweet home. And sweet it is, with 12 bedrooms, 12 baths, two additional guest houses, private dock, outdoor fireplace pavilion, waterfront pond, and panoramic water views, the newly-renovated (and expanded!) homes (yes, there are three separate abodes on this 6-acre paradise) are everything you pay for and more. (And you’ll even get a teahouse thrown in for good monetary measure.)

The interior is a spacious 12,000 square-feet and fully loaded with fancy deets — granite countertops, hardwood floors, and more than three fireplaces. The numerous rooms can accommodate a small army of A-listers, but the home is anything but a fort. The open floor plan makes it easy to entertain and flow from one room to another. And with multiple decks and patios, New Yorkers looking to get away from Manhattan and live like a screen king, can unwind with the scenic Atlantic Ocean as a backdrop.

And the outside layout and amenities are just as impressive — large private gardens, outside seating areas and private dock (we’re thinking if you have enough dough for this kind of mansion, you can probably afford a small boat… or yacht). And while the homes are on separate lots, they’re all connected by the vast rolling lawns and sparkling pool.
