So, A Lot of Celebrities Had Babies This Week
Here's a quick recap of what happened:
The Royal Baby Is Finally Born After months of incessant coverage by the media, Prince William and Kate Middleton at long last welcomed a healthy baby boy on Monday, June 22. The baby weighed 8 lbs., 6 oz. and was quickly given the name "Baby Cambridge," before the proud parents finally settled on George Alexander Louis (or, His Royal Highness Prince George of Cambridge).
Lady Antebellum Has a Baby Hillary Scott, best known as the lead singer of Lady Antebellum and that "Need You Now" song I think has finally been erased from the public consciousness forever, also welcomed a baby on Monday -- a daughter named Eisele Kaye Tyrrell (pronounced Eyes-lee). Born in Nashville, Tenn., the little country tot weighed 7 lbs. 13 oz., and was described as "incredibly gorgeous" by her understandably happy father.
For Penelope and Javier, Daughter Makes Two Also welcoming a little girl on Monday were parents Javier Bardem and Penelope Cruz. Cruz -- who also has a son, Leonardo, 2, with Bardem -- gave birth in Madrid, according to reports. Further information, including a name, was not revealed.
Jimmy Fallon Has a Funny Girl Last but not least, funnyman Jimmy Fallon and his wife, Nancy Juveonen, welcomed a baby girl early Tuesday morning. During Wednesday's Late Night monologue, Fallon revealed her name: Winnie Rose Fallon.
