Blake Lively on Husband Ryan Reynolds: ‘We Influence Each Other in Different Ways’

There’s no question Blake Lively has style — that’s been true ever since she strutted onto the Upper East Side in it girl Serena van der Woodsen’s stilletos on Gossip Girl. But when it turns from fashion to decorating her New York countryside home, she has faith in her husband Ryan Reynolds’ design sense.

“I’m very lucky to be with someone who has better taste than me,” she says in the September 2013 issue of Lucky magazine, which hits newsstands tomorrow. “We influence each other in different ways.”

Lively, 25 — who wed Reynolds, 36, in fall 2012 after first meeting on the set of 2011’s The Green Lantern — finds something particularly pleasing about putting together their lovenest.

“With film and TV, you don’t see the results for months,” she reasons. “Building a home, you get immediate gratification…. My greatest passion is my personal life.”

While she collaborates with Reynolds on home decor, Lively’s personal style has always been, and always will be, her own.

“I was recently asked how my style has changed since I got married, as if I was living under some sort of dictatorship,” she jokes. “I should hope I dress differently at 25 than I did when I graduated high school. I hope I never stop changing.”
