Tina Fey and Ricky Gervais Join Kermit in 'Muppets Most Wanted'

Film reboots of beloved children's series can be a tricky thing. Both the Smurfs and Alvin and the Chipmunks movies have drawn ire, but when Jason Segel rebooted The Muppets in 2011, things were different. The movie was well-loved, even winning an Oscar for Best Song. While Segel and the first film's co-stars Amy Adams and Chris Cooper aren't back for the sequel, James Bobin and Nicholas Stoller (the director and co-writer of The Muppets) are. Plus, this movie stars Tina Fey, Ricky Gervais, Ty Burrell and a host of other celebrity cameos, so it looks like we're in good hands.

The trailer doesn't really expound on the plot, but what we know is that the muppets head to France for this movie. While there they're implicated in a jewel heist perpetrated by a Kermit lookalike. It's set to hit theaters March 21, 2014.
