Former ‘Bachelor’ Star Gia Allemand Hospitalized In Critical Condition
She continued: "cause unknown thus far..could have been an adverse reaction to something..not quite sure yet.
"Everyone I will keep you posted if I hear anything further right now it's not good-we all need to stay positive though she's tiny but strong."
Gia Allemand, who shot to fame after appearing as one of the 24 women vying for the attention of Jake Pavelka on The Bachelor in 2010, has been rushed to the hospital in Louisiana and is in critical condition, Celebuzz has learned.
According to a statement from her rep, the actress and reality star, 29, was taken to University Hospital in New Orleans “following a serious emergency medical event.”
No other details are available at this time.
A source close to the reality star tells CB! her condition is "not related to her health, disease or degenerative condition in any way. It’s not that sort of health issue."
“On behalf of the family, we kindly ask for privacy at this time,” added her rep.
During season 14 of the popular ABC reality show, Allemand was the runner-up after Pavelka proposed to Vienna Girardi, who tweeted:
Please keep @GiaAllemand in your prayers. I do not know details but she is in the icu. Stay strong and I love you. xoPavelka also posted well wishes.
