Lady Gaga Pretty Darn Mad at Bloggers in Latest Video Promo
Apparently fed up with hackers and bloggers (or “haters,” as celebrities awkwardly call them), Lady Gaga on Monday released another artsy-fartsy video that ultimately turned out to be a promo for her new single “Applause.”
The video, which was produced by House of Dereon’s European cousin, Haus of Gaga, shows Gaga sitting inside some weird alien-eqsue room (probably her living room) as she addresses all the nasty things people have said about her since Born This Way came out in 2011.
“DO NOT buy her new single Applause on iTunes … ” the video reads. ” … DON’T dance to the song at all. DO NOT buy ARTPOP on November 11. She’s over.”
While that may be true of her career as a video artist, Gaga’s message very obviously had the reverse effect on her fans, known colloquially as
don’t make me say it Little Monsters. “Applause” is sitting pretty at number two on the iTunes singles charts, even though it’s not really that good.
