Former 'That 70s Show' Star Lisa Robin Kelly Dead At 43
The 43-year-old star died in her sleep Wednesday night while staying at a California rehab facility, where she voluntarily checked into for an alcohol problem.
"Unfortunately Lisa Robin Kelly passed away last evening. Lisa had voluntarily checked herself into a treatment facility early this week where she was battling the addiction problems that have plagued her these past few years," Kelly's agent, Craig Wyckoff, told us.
"I spoke to her on Monday and she was hopeful and confident, looking forward to putting this part of her life behind her. Last night she lost the battle. Cause of death has not been issued yet and no death certificate has been issued either."
Since Kelly's role wrapped on the FOX series in 2003, she often made headlines for her legal troubles. Previously, the actress had been arrested at least four times in the past years for spousal abuse and assault, with the most recent arrest on June 23 on suspicion of drunk driving.
In 2012, Kelly appeared on Good Morning America to deny allegations that she was abusing her ex-boyfriend.
"This is all a bunch of made up stuff," she said, adding that she had "lost a baby" from her rough past with alcohol. "I lost everything .. and I was abusing alcohol, which I no longer do. With the 70s show, I was guilty -- of the drinking problem -- and I ran. And I am not running from this. And I have paid my dues."
