Lindsay Lohan is a working girl again.
Just two weeks after completing a 90 days of court-ordered 90 treatment, she has landed her first post-rehab acting gig: a guest role on HBO’s raunchy, R-rated sitcom, Eastbound & Down, in its upcoming fourth and final season.
The critically-acclaimed comedy series stars Danny McBride as washed-up, foul-mouthed former MLB pitcher Kenny Powers, who spent his millions, burned all bridges and now teaches physical education at his hometown middle school as his plots his return to the majors.
A source told E! that Lohan plays the daughter of one of the show’s main characters — TMZ reports she will be the grown-up version of Kenny’s illegitimate daughter — and that she was filming a wedding scene set many years in the future in which she is the bride. Eastbound’s eight-episode final season premieres on Sept. 29.
This is just latest stop on Lohan’s post-treatment comeback tour. Though her latest film, The Canyons, was widely panned by critics, she earned raves for her one-night guest-hosting gig on E!’s late-night talker Chelsea Latelylast week
Next, Lohan will sit down with Oprah Winfrey for her first after-rehab interview, set to air on OWN Sunday. Following the one-on-one, Winfrey’s network will produce an eight-episode docu-series following Lohan as she works to rebuild her post-rehab career, which is slated for 2014.
