James Franco Reveals New TV Series About Art (Duh)
Apparently, James Franco will be taking his artsy talents to the small screen in the near future.
The man of many interests took to his Instagram on Monday evening to tease an upcoming TV project by posting a photo of his face superimposed on a devil-horned rendition of da Vinci’s famed Mona Lisa. “New TV series about art duuuh,” he scribbled across the mysterious pic. That’s duh with three u’s, so you know he means business.
The 35-year-old actor captioned the image, explaining:
“They don’t want me to say the channel yet, don’t know why. But I guess you’ll find out Wednesday.”
It’s unclear as to if Franco will be analyzing art, making art or just staring blankly at it, but I’m sure he’ll have plenty of experience to draw from (ba dum chang) considering he’s shown major passion for the world in the past.
James’ upcoming art show isn’t the only way you can catch the This Is The End actor on your TV sets. He’ll be guest starring on season 2 of the The Mindy Project as Dr. Paul Leotard and his Comedy Central Roast airs on Labor Day.
We’ll have wait until Wednesday to find out more about his new art project. I’m not holding my breath for the next Bob Ross or anything, but you can sure color me intrigued. You can always count on that Franco to keep us on our toes.
