According to a police report obtained by Celebuzz, Anderson told authorities he had been arguing with Allemand Aug. 12 “over her suspicions that he had been unfaithful to her."
After spending the afternoon together that Monday, Anderson dropped her off at her home around 6 p.m. when he told her “I don't love you anymore.”
About an hour and a half later Allemand’s mother asked him via text to check in on her daughter because she was growing increasingly worried after their phone conversation abruptly went silent for 10 minutes.
It was 20 minutes later that Anderson found the former reality star unconscious in a sitting position on the staircase with a vacuum cleaner cord "wrapped around her neck many times” which he “frantically unwrapped." He also began "yelling for help" because she was “unresponsive," per the report from the New Orleans Police Department.
The 29-year-old Bachelor star also left behind a suicide note that read, "Mom gets everything."
According to a statement from her family, Allemand was taken off life support at University Hospital in New Orleans Aug. 14.
Anderson later released a statement following the news of her passing: "I'm deeply grateful for all the love and support we have received from family, friends and fans,” he said. “Gia was the most beautiful person I knew inside and out and she always smiled and made everyone else around her smile. She had such an amazing impact on my life and anyone that knew her was blessed. All I have left is to cherish those memories we made together and help perpetuate the many values, faith and love that we shared."
