Tina Fey’s Jokes Were Stolen From Her New York Office

30 Rock may be finished, but Tina Fey isn’t done with NBCUniversal. Last year, she signed a four-year contract with Universal to develop future television shows. To do this, Fey and a small staff moved into a New York City office building to come up with ideas. It was going great, until someone stole Fey’s laptop, and with it, all of her ideas.

Here’s what we know:

Fey appeared on the Late Show with David Letterman this week. But she wasn’t there to promote, except justice. Fey told Letterman she believes that someone took the laptop while the office was downstairs helping some movers they’d hired. Fortunately, the entire alleged crime was caught on surveillance footage, which Fey brought along to show to the world.

Remember, if you suspect anything, do everything, New York.
