Whoa, Miley.

To further add to the delicious pot of pre-VMAs events (*NSYNC joining Twitter, Danity Kane reuniting), Miley Cyrus has unleashed two amazing things from her upcoming album Bangerz.

On Saturday night, the 20-year-old singer took to Twitter to share the official cover art for the album, out Oct. 8.

Cyrus also made every Smiler’s weekend by dropping “Wrecking Ball.” The power ballad is available for download when a pre-order is placed on Bangerz on iTunes.

While you’re deciding on whether or not to place a pre-order (do it, eventually), here’s “Wrecking Ball.” Sing along to the track on Directlyrics.

Judging from her latest tweet, Smilers are in for more amazing things at tonight’s MTV Video Music Awards. Cyrus, who is scheduled to perform, is up for four moon men, including Best Female Video and Best Song of the Summer for “We Can’t Stop.”

The VMAs will be handed out live from the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, N.Y. tonight at 9 p.m. EST.
