Ryan Anderson has returned to Twitter for the first time since the tragic death of his girlfriend, Gia Allemand.

On Saturday, Anderson shared a personal photo of the late Bachelor star, along with the following message:

“Every second of everyday, I miss you Petrie. I feel lost without you but find strength knowing that you are in Heaven. Rest in peace my love.”

It was Anderson who found Allemand unconscious in her New Orleans home on Aug. 12, after the 29-year-old star attempted to commit suicide. Allemand, who left behind a suicide note that read “Mom gets everything,” was taken off life support at University Hospital in New Orleans two days later.

Allemand was laid to rest in New York on Aug. 22 at a ceremony attended by her family, Anderson and Bachelor alums.
