Miley Cyrus and Britney Spears’ Collaboration To Be Featured on ‘Bangerz,’ Confirms Producer

It’s happening, folks.

Two generations of former Disney stars will be colliding as Miley Cyrus teams up with Britney Spears for a collaboration on her forthcoming album, Bangerz.

Producer Sean Garrett confirmed the duet to VIBE, telling the publication that he was working with Cyrus and Mike WiLL Made It on the LP when it dawned on him to rope in Spears, whom he previously worked with on “Toy Soldier” from 2007’s Blackout.

It’s fun, exciting [music]. We got one with that Britney,” he said when asked about Cyrus’ new record.

“Shoutout to my man Mike Will but Mike Will, Miley and me just got in the studio and wanted to make it the biggest record possible,” he added. “It’s just a pleasure to be working with some icons like that.”

Aside from the fact that Cyrus and Spears now share the same manager, rumors of a collaboration first surfaced when a snippet of the track leaked online. Since then, Cyrus teased about bringing on huge stars for Bangerz, including LudacrisPharellFuture, and Big Sean.

There’s definitely been times where I’ve had to fight for what I want on this record, but I think everyone is now starting to see that I had, like, a vision. I’m really excited about it,” she said of the album, due out Oct. 4. “It’s gonna be crazy. It’s gonna be single after single after single.”
