Bradley Cooper Joins 'Guardians of the Galaxy' As The Voice Of Rocket Raccoon

Bradley Cooper Joins The Cast Of 'Guardians of the Galaxy'
It's official. Bradley Cooper will lend his voice to Rocket Raccoon in Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy.

The Academy Award Nominee has been rumored to be in the mix for a while now, but Marvel finally announced today that he would voice the feisty, gun wielding rodent.

Not only will this be the first time Bradley plays a raccoon, it will also be the first time he can call himself a voice actor.

With one announcement down, it may only be a matter of time before it's revealed that Vin Diesel will play the tree-like creature, Groot. For now though, that remains entirely rumor.

Cooper will join Zoe Saldana, Chris Pratt, Benicio Del Toro, and Glenn Close in the movie that doesn't hit theaters until August 1st, 2014.
