'Fifty Shades of Grey' Casts Dakota Johnson, Charlie Hunnam

Dakota Johnson and Charlie Hunnam will play Anastasia Steele and Christian Grey, respectively, in the movie adaptation of Fifty Shades of Grey, author EL James announced on Twitter Monday. Johnson, who is the daughter of actors Don Johnson and Melanie Griffith, is best known for her roles in The Social Network, 21 Jump Street and the short-lived sitcom Ben and Kate; Hunnam has appeared in everything from Pacific Rim to the FX series Sons of Anarchy. (Just look at this.)

Sam Taylor-Johnson (aka Aaron Johnson's much-older wife) is directing the project, about two people who have a whole lot of kinky, Twilight-inspired sex. It hits theaters on Aug 1., 2014.

It's hysterical. It's just like when Robert Pattinson was cast in Twilight. Everybody hated the idea until the first marketing images were released - then BOOM, head over heels in LOVE, LoL! How do you suppose ’50 Shades of Grey’ POSSIBLY be inspired by Twilight?
