Michelle Williams Making Broadway Debut in ‘Cabaret’ Revival
Willkommen, bienvenue, etc.: Three-time Oscar nominee Michelle Williams will make her official Broadway debut in the upcoming revival of Cabaret, The New York Times reported Tuesday. She’ll play Sally Bowles, the role that won Liza Minnelli an Oscar in the 1972 film and Natasha Richardson in the 1998 revival, after Emma Stone dropped out due to prior commitments. Cabaret, which will also feature Alan Cumming reviving his Tony-winning performance as the M.C., opens in 2014.
