Tyler Perry Cast in 'Gone Girl'
Tyler Perry has come into the fringe of David-Fincher's anticipated adaption of Gillian Flynn's dark and twisty hit novel. According to Deadline, the actor will play attorney Tanner Bolt, who represents Nick Dunne (Ben Affleck) after he becomes a suspect in authorities' search for his missing wife, Amy Dunne (Rosamund Pike), who vanished on the couple's fifth wedding anniversary.
Rounding out the cast are Kim Dickens (Lost, The Blind Side) and Patrick Fugit (Almost Famous) as Rhonda Boney and Jim Gilpin, respectively, the detectives investigating Amy's mystifying disappearance; and Tony-nominated theater star Carrie Coon will be Nick Dunne's twin sister, Margo, known simply as Go.
Neil Patrick Harris was rumored to be in the running for a supporting role, but there's yet to be any confirmation of that. (Though, the part of Amy's stalker ex-boyfriend Desi Collings is still up for grabs).
Twentieth Century Fox's Gone Girl is said to start filming this month, and is due out in 2015.
